I was so excited about having a new camera, getting on my bicycle and to continue my six year street photography project in Upper Manhattan but then,....I am NOT willing to take a bullet for it. Right now, it is very very dangerous being around some parts of Upper Manhattan where, I had gotten my best photographs.
Some parts of Harlem are extremely dangerous right now at any time of the day that is unless, I want to become some sort re-invention of photographer
Weegee - Arthur Fellig (June 12, 1899 – December 26, 1968), and start documenting color crime scenes ( I don't think so!) so...I will venture out of the box for the rest of the summer and find other areas in Manhattan that still might have some sort of real ''flavor''.
Now I hope some of you truly understand that for me they will be is tears but, will not be blood to get a photograph.
