I am very happy and proud to be part of Dan Cooney Fine Art Late Summer Emerging Art Auction. This photograph in particular is very special to me and dedicated to my friend  Igor Jong . This photograph is part of my new ongoing photography series Nightclubbing and it is the very first  photograph released from it.

The beginning of this on going series was the Spring/Summer of 2009. With the current Economic Recession, there is a new resurgence in the nightclub scene in Manhattan, NYC. For a short while, the job loss, the closing of businesses, corporations and the Internet addiction has forced people to relocate, leave the city or stay home. All of the sudden, small club and at times obscure venues starting to open and with it a new wave of creative, in full costume galore crowd reminiscent of the 1980’s and 1990’s era. The new ‘’Lady Gaga generation’’ is out and proud.  This photo in particular is dedicated to my friend and club buddy, Igor Jong. We lost Igor this summer.
