The work of Jesse Burke reminds me of a combination of David Hillard and Amy Elkins but , in Jesse's work there is a raw element that sometimes contrast or work together with the masculine images. He employs concepts such as male bonding and peer influence, masculine rites and rituals, homosocial desire, physical exertion, and our connection to one another as well as the landscape that we interact within to expose these instances.I had seen his work before and his book is pretty good also so...a vote YES for Jesse!
