Attention Savvy Art Collectors!
UNFRAMED 2011 is one event that you should not miss! This is a great opportunity to contribute and get some fierce art by attending this event.
ACRIA is one of my very favorite AIDS organizations and for many years, had always provided support in any way possible. It is also one of the best places to find affordable limited edition prints and art from the best luminaries of the current Art World. So if you are not in NYC and can't make it to the event, contact Scott Drevnig and make your purchases during and right after the event, the work goes on line (what is left..) to the web site.
For the ones in the NYC area, this is where you need to be before starting your summer weekend getaways. It is always a very nice soiree. They really know how to do it.
See you next Wednesday May 25!
Here is more info about the event:
Dear Friend of ACRIA:
As you may know, our once-a-year UNFRAMED event is coming up on Wednesday, May 25th, at 123 Third Avenue (at 14th Street), from 6 to 9 pm. UNFRAMED is our famed artists event, also known as Artists Respond to AIDS, that began in 1993. This year’s event will be part of our 20th Anniversary fundraising efforts, with an outstanding twenty-one artists participating. Each of our extremely talented artists is donating a small group of works to ACRIA so that we may continue our lifesaving efforts on behalf of those with HIV/AIDS. As always, we will give you the opportunity to purchase hard-to-acquire artists’ work for a fraction of the retail value.
We will also have a large silent auction featuring incredible works from some of the biggest names in the art world today! The evening is presented by Architectural Digest, 123 Third Avenue and BNY Mellon Wealth Management, with cocktails provided by Svedka. Additional support is being provided by artnet, Chelsea Frames and Duggal. Tickets are $20 at the DOOR ONLY.
Come and enjoy fabulous cocktails and the mind-blowingly inexpensive original signed works that ACRIA is famous for. The invitation attached and below lists the prominent artists who have donated their work to ACRIA.
I hope you will be able to join us for this very special evening, and thank you for your support.
