Aperture Foundation, Yseult Chehata ready for business!
Well ...Round # 1 of The New York Photo Festival . Tonight was the Opening Reception @ The Powerhouse Arena and as you can see by the photos was packed wall to wall with the most happening and coolest people in the photography business. Everybody was in great spirits and I got the opportunity to hang out and catch up with my favorite photographers and friends. It was great to see and spend time with photographers Brian Ulrich, Cara Phillips, Will Steacy, Sarah Palmer, Shen Wei, Richard Renaldi, Timothy Briner, Peter Riesett, Carey Kirkella, Timothy Briner, Casey Kelbaugh, Andrew Hetherington and many others.
They were also publishers like Aperture's Lesley Martin, Curator John Bennette, Gallerist Jen Beckman and Randall Scott and Collector and Fellow Blogger, MAO.
I felt right at home with Rums of Puerto Rico and decided that my drink for the night was Coconut Rum with Pineapple juice...mmmmmm...very tasty!
Tomorrow, I get down to business with the shows and talks.
